To manually polish terrazzo, you will need a floor polishing machine with diamond polishing pads, a wet/dry vacuum, and a terrazzo polishing compound. Start by thoroughly cleaning the terrazzo surface to remove any dirt and debris. Then, attach a coarse diamond polishing pad to the machine and begin polishing the floor in a circular motion, working in small sections at a time. Gradually switch to finer grit polishing pads until the desired level of shine is achieved. Finally, apply the terrazzo polishing compound to the surface and buff it in with the polishing machine to bring out the final shine. Be sure to use the wet/dry vacuum to clean up any excess water and residue during the process. **
