The prayer for Eid al-Fitr is called Salat al-Eid. It is a special prayer consisting of two rakats (units) and is performed in congregation. The prayer starts with the intention to pray followed by the Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar) seven times in the first rakat and five times in the second rakat. After the prayer, it is customary to listen to a sermon (khutbah) delivered by the imam. The prayer is a way for Muslims to show gratitude to Allah for helping them complete the month of Ramadan. **

Eid al-Fitr is a religious holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It is a day of celebration and thanksgiving, where Muslims come together to pray, give charity, and enjoy festive meals with family and friends. Iftar, on the other hand, is the evening meal that Muslims have to break their fast during Ramadan. It is a daily ritual during the month of Ramadan, where Muslims gather to break their fast at sunset, often with dates and water, followed by a larger meal. While Eid al-Fitr is a specific holiday at the end of Ramadan, Iftar is a daily practice during the month of fasting. **
